How do I pick the right EliteArch shield size for each client?
The most accurate and professional way to choose the correct EliteArch shield size is to measure your client’s natural lash length using the Airlift Dream Pro Tool.
Simply place the tool against the natural lashes, read the length, and match it directly to the EliteArch Size Chart (XS2–M). This ensures the shield fits the client’s lashes properly, giving you cleaner wrapping, stronger root contact, better lash direction, and a predictable lash lift result.
What if I’m unsure between two shield sizes?
1. If the client has short, straight, or downward lashes → choose the smaller size.
Smaller shields give better root grip, cleaner lift and stronger visible result
Perfect for: XS2 / XS1 / XS users.
(Using a size too big on short lashes is the #1 reason for “weak lift” or “lash tips floating off the shield.”)
2. If the client has long, dense, or naturally curled lashes → choose the larger size.
Larger shields help avoid over-curling, kinks / bends at the tips, and excessive rounded curl
Perfect for: S / M users.
3. If both sizes “kind of fit” → pick the one that keeps the tips the smoothest.
✔ If the tips bend → size up
✔ If the tips float or won’t wrap cleanly → size down
Pro rule: The lash should lie flat from root to tip without stretching or lifting.
4. For first-time clients → start smaller.
Smaller shields are easier to control and create a cleaner root lift, especially with straight lashes, resistant lashes and clients with uneven eyelids. EliteArch’s linear root zone performs best when the shield is not oversized.
